Pretzel recipe


recipe
warm water – 360ml
yeast – 2 and 1/2 tbsp
salt – 1tsp
sugar- 1tbsp
unsalted butter – 1 tbsp ( it should be melted then let it cool down it should not be too hot maybe warm )
flour – 500g

method – procedure
1. mix the yeast in warm water and allow to sit for 2 minutes . add salt , butter and sugar in the bowl and whisk then add the flour little by little and be mixing with a spoon or a flat spatula when all the flour has been poured , if the dough is sticky add more flour till the dough is firm but not too firm
2. knead the dough in a floured surface and roll into a ball , then let rise for 30mins

3. while waiting prepare the baking soda bath by putting baking soda and water in a pot allow to boil
4. bring out the dough and knead on a floured surface then cut the dough to 15 pieces and roll the dough into a 16 inch rope
5. form a circle with the rope by putting the two ends together then twist the ends then bring the twisted ends to the “u” shaped direction and press


Then put the pretzel Into the boiling baking soda and water for exactly 25 seconds then sprinkle sea salt on it and put it in a greased baking rack In a preheated oven and the Temperature of the oven should be 400degree Celsius bake for 10 minutes until golden brown ……….. Eat with chilled drink 😋😋😋
